Whitney Houston’s passing was a shock to friends and family around the world but it has been claimed that she had a premonition about her death.
According to TMZ.com the singer became spiritual in her final days and told friends she ‘really wanted to see Jesus’.
The website claims Whitney, who died on Saturday began quoting the bible and singing religious songs in the days leading up to her death.

Whitney was said to have performed Yes Jesus Loves Me Tu at Tru nightclub in Hollywood on Friday night and the website claims the singer told a friend: ‘I’m gonna go see Jesus… I want to see Jesus.’
And the next day it has been claimed Whitney was quoting bible passages from the Matthew Chapter and according to TMZ she said: ‘You know, he's so cool ... I really want to see that Jesus.’
Whitney’s death certificate has failed to determine the cause of death listing ‘pending investigation’ as the manner of death and ‘deferred’ is written for the immediate cause.
While it is known that the singer drank alcohol and had taken prescription drugs before her death it is still not clear what the exact cause is - and it has been reported it will be hard to get a clear picture of exactly what she was taking.
Still a mystery: Whitney's death certificate cites the cause of death as 'deferred' and it is still not clear how the singer died on Saturday

Still a mystery: Whitney's death certificate cites the cause of death as 'deferred' and it is still not clear how the singer died on Saturday According to The LA Times: 'The Los Angeles County coroner's office said Wednesday investigators have asked  'a number' of doctors to provide them with Houston's medical information.  L.A. County Sheriff's Sgt. Steve Opferman told the paper: 'Celebrities often get their prescription drugs from doctors who are more than willing to give them what they want and sometimes using members of their entourage.' The singer’s funeral will take place on Saturday at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, NJ, which is the same place her father is buried.  The I Will Always Love You singer’s funeral will be broadcast allowing fans to pay their own tributes from home on the television and web. There will be no public memorial service and pastor Marvin L Winans, who will be giving a eulogy said the family didn’t want ‘a parade’.

‘I don't think knowing Cissy (Houston's mother) and the Houston family ... it was a matter of public or private as it was this is my daughter, this is my sister, this is my mother, this is my friend and we want to do this with dignity.’ Aretha Franklin, Houston's godmother, has been asked to sing at the funeral, which begins at noon, Franklin's spokeswoman said.
According to CNN.com others confirmed on the guest list are Chaka Khan, Bebe & CeCe Winans, songwriter Diane Warren, the Rev. Jesse Jackson, pop singer Darlene Love, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Antonio L.A. Reid, Ray J and Brandy.  Following Whitney's deaths claims emerged stating that singer was dishevelled and incoherent and that she interrupted an E! interview the Thursday before her death. But according to Radaronline this is false and a source said: 'Whitney waited until E! had finished filming to say hello. Clive, Brandy and Monica were doing interviews with multiple media outlets to promote their performance at the pre-Grammy party. The interview was finished, and the E! crew was off to the side taking their equipment down, and the trio was awaiting the next outlet to come in and set up. As soon as the E! crew saw Whitney enter the room, they started rolling their cameras. Whitney came over, and said hello to all three. She was completely sober, coherent, and absolutely respectful. She just wanted to wish Brandy and Monica good luck.'
The room Whitney died in is said to be fully bookefor the 'foreseeable future' it has been reported.
Although the I Will Always Love You singer was declared dead last weekend, the Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party still went ahead in the same hotel. Houston was due to perform at the bash and while many celebrities including Britney Spears were in attendance, Sharon Osbourne opted not to go out of respect for the fallen star.

She said: 'I do not know how people could have gone to the party knowing that Whitney was still in that building dead. And just the sorrow, I just couldn't. 'There was no way I could go drink and eat and be social. For me, it wasn't right.' The body of the singer, 48, was found surrounded by different bottles of prescription pills including ibuprofen - a painkiller, Xanax - an anti-anxiety drug, Midol - for menstrual cramps, amoxicillin - for bacterial infections and several others.

If anyone gave Houston the drugs illegally, they could be charged. '[Authorities] need to determine that no one is criminally negligent. There still could be charges in this case,' the source said.  According to RadarOnline.com her manager, Clive Davis angered family members when he announced that he would be going ahead with his party at the hotel.  The website claim that a source said: 'The mood in the suite was just that of pure shock. Bobbi Kristina was absolutely inconsolable, she was rocking back and forth on the couch, crying hysterically.'
They added: 'Clive was already dressed in his tux and most of Whitney's family was already dressed for the party. There wasn't any mention of the party proceeding or being canceled by Clive. He told Whitney's family that they could stay in his suite as long as they needed to, and then after about 45 minutes with them, he left.' Clive's spokesperson released a statement to the website denouncing the claims and said: 'This story is categorically false. This supposed in-person meeting never took place and Mr. Davis never left the main floor of the hotel.'  According to reports, the hotel asked the coroner to leave Whitney's body in her hotel room out of respect for A-list guests and for security issues.

The funeral will take place at 5pm GMT and 12pm EST, in Newark's New Hope Baptist Church and family members have reportedly told Bobby Brown that he is not welcome. Detroit based pastor and former recording artist Marvin Winans will deliver the eulogy at the funeral service and he described her death as the same as losing a sibling.

The pastor said he was stricken with grief when he heard his close friend had died in her hotel room but was able to laugh at some memories he shared with the troubled star he nicknamed Nip. 'We both were at the William Morris Agency at the time. And we both had the same agent. And I knew of Whitney Houston. I knew of this phenomenal record. And you saw her picture back in the day everywhere. But I didn’t know the songs and I didn’t know her.' His agent asked if he’d ever heard of her. 'And we were like ‘yeah.’ And he said, ‘Well, she closes her show with your song, Tomorrow.’ And so Carvin and I were in Beverly Hills and she was at a hotel and we went there and met her. And when we met her, I just said, ‘Oh, lord.’ Because I knew she would be family. And that is exactly what happened.'
Marvin also confirmed that her mother was dealing well with the sad news considering the awful situation. He said: 'Yes, she’s deeply saddened. Their relationship was famous as close as they were. Yet, she keeps living. Our thoughts and prayers, our whole personal sadness sort of abates this mother who lost her daughter. She lost her daughter.'

In the wake of Whitney's passing many stars have come forward to speak about how much they were influenced by the music legend.  Stacy Francis has taken to Twitter to express her condolences and regrets about her run-in with Whitney Houston just two days before she died.
'This is a sad time for me. I loved Whitney Houston with all my heart,' she wrote on Sunday. 'She was such an amazing musical influence for me. 'I deeply regret the events that led to Thursday’s misunderstanding, but I respect and love her more than I can say.'

The former X Factor contestant Stacy Francis nearly came to blows with the musical icon last Thursday — for talking to Whitney's on-off boyfriend Ray J.
'She ran over to them and began screaming, ‘This is my man! I’m a cougar!’' a source told Radar Online.

Ray J, 31, who had reportedly rekindled his romance with Houston despite his denials, tried to calm down the angry singer, assuring her that he and Francis, 42, were family friends.
But according to Radar, after Houston - who is said to have been drinking tequila - pointed fingers and shouted, even shoving Francis in her forehead at one point, the ex-X Factor reportedly gave in and pushed her back.
Meanwhile Janet Jackson, who was close to the singer during the 80s and 90s, told Anderson Cooper that Whitney was a 'sweet soul,' she added: 'She was such a sweet, sweet soul. We would always take the time out to find one another.

Whitney's mother, gospel singer Cissy Houston, issued the following statement: 'We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Whitney. This is an unimaginable tragedy and we will miss her terribly. We appreciate the outpouring of love and support from her fans and friends.'
And Chaka Khan believes it was 'insane' to hold the Clive Davis Grammy party the same night that her friend died, and that she couldn't even get dressed to attend.
Speaking on Piers Morgan Tonight, she said: 'I thought that was complete insanity. And knowing Whitney, I don't believe that she would have said, the show must go on. She was the kind of woman that was, ‘Stop everything, uh-huh.’ I'm not going to be there. You know.
She added: 'I couldn't get dressed. I was supposed to go to the party.
Just got off a plane from Miami at 5:30. As soon as I hit the tarmac, I found out, I heard. And I couldn't put on makeup, I couldn't get dressed, I couldn't do anything.'

February 4th, 2012 at the Reliant Arena, Houston, Tx Mike Epps performed a spectacular show. There was a very good crowd, the arena was sold out! Mike Epps did his thing! Well worth it. Bruce Bruce was hilarious. Mr. Henry was very good as well. The opening acts were unexpected, but well appreciated between Bun B and GT Mayne.

Michael Elliot "Mike" Epps (born November 18, 1970) is a multi-talented artist who acts, sings, raps and is also a show host and a voice artist. His comedy career started in 1996 when he participated in Def Comedy Jam Tour and appeared in two broadcasts of Def Comedy Jam on HBO.
